Flying Away

 I brought out my Jeremy Scott x Adidas kicks last week for brunch and man oh man did I get a bunch of stares. When walking up and down Greektown to find a brunch spot (PS: Meli's Cafe on Jackson and Halston is delicious), little girls eyes lit up, dads expressed a confused face, and mothers whispered to their older kids about how crazy my shoes are. The thing is, I don't think crazy is the word. Maybe insane, but definitely not crazy.

Anyways, Spring break is slowly approaching next week which means midterms are right around the corner. I think my biggest mistake this semester was thinking I was a bada.. thinking I could take two math classes at a time. I hate to say it, but my counselor was completely right.

Note to any upcoming Freshman or perhaps anyone in college: do not overload yourself with classes "just to get them out of the way".

On the bright side I have a little over a month of school left until summer break starts. Let the countdown of short shorts, gladiator sandals, and sunglasses begin.
