Snuggle Up In A Sweater, Fall's Here!

As I type this post, I am snuggling up in a baggy sweater and a heavy blanket with a nice cup of Chai tea. Sounds like fall? It sure does. Now that September is over and October is here, note the freezing weather, it is time to put away those sandals and high-waisted shorts, and bring in those comfy sweaters and warm leather boots. 

Fall is probably my favorite time of year. Why you may ask? Well..

#1: School is almost done. Hello Thanksgiving break.
#2: Layers, layers, oh and did I mention layers?
#3: Feeling like an icicle 24 hours out of the day. 
#4: Wearing leather without feeling like a hot mess.
#5: Sweaters = comfy.

Of course October is not all fun and games. This week I have several midterms and big exams to see if I've been actually paying attention or blogging while in class. 

Am I excited? No.
Am I ready to get them over with? Yes.

One thing that I can say is that UIC has definitely grown on me. I have met some pretty awesome people this semester. Also I've noticed that I actually enjoy going to my classes this semester rather than feeling like I was wasting my time.

In other random news, I have come to the mindset that I really want (want being the keyword) to study abroad in Spain. The culture, the shopping, the people, everything about it is screaming my name. Where exactly? Although if I were to study abroad I would probably go everywhere, I'm debating between Valencia or Barcelona, of course. All I can say is that time will tell..

So cheers to the beginning of a beautiful freezing cold Fall and let the games begin or for lack of a better words, spending hours and hours at the library. Note: All nighters.
