Falling in Love with Fall

Fall is probably my favorite time of the year. Why you may ask? I love layering. I know I've posted about this like 20 million times, but I feel like if a person is able to layer 3-5 layers - they are a perfectionist. Baggy sweaters, cardigans, heavy wool coats, and boots are key essentials for any Chicagoan.

Another reason why I'm in love with Fall is because of the sometimes gorgeous weather that Chicago has to offer. The leaves slowly turning an orange color and falling off the trees is just incredible. Sometimes I wish Chicago was like Florida at times, but I think I would probably get too sick of the humidity and the hotness.  Also the idea of winter break and Christmas around the corner makes me all cheery and warm-hearted. Thankfully for me school ends on December 9th, I think. Anyways, I'm definitely counting down and can't wait to enjoy a long winter break.

I know you're probably thinking, why is thinking about Christmas when we haven't even had Halloween or Thanksgiving? Unfortunately I'm allergic to turkey, which stinks when it comes to Thanksgiving and Halloween I'll be working this year - wah.
