Reality Shock in CHICago

So it's been a little over a week since I've moved back to Chicago and I still can't believe I'm here. I keep waking up and thinking that I have to head to work or my internship, ah. I totally miss my peeps in New York, although I barely had any - HAH.

Someone who I miss dearly (that I only had time to hangout with her twice, sucks) is my friend Noelle. Oh my this girl is incredible. Super young, a foodie (which is the opposite of me), a bit shy, yet wanting to go around New York and venture everywhere. You may be asking how we met?

I was lucky enough to have met her through work (per usual). She came into Lush looking for some skincare and from there the rest is history. She has lived in New Jersey for pretty much her entire life and whenever we hung out I felt like I learned so much about the city.

Whether it was talking about the uh-mazing Prada exhibit at the Met or taking me to Pomme Frites for the first time - she definitely knows the New York scene. Oh I forgot to mention that she runs this BA blog, called Poelle Nark, which of course is all about the food in New York. Her blog covers everything (price wise) from  $5 for a bubble tea or $80 for some sushi - she has nailed it down.

When I left New York I told everyone there were no goodbyes, just see you later. I can't wait to be headed back to the big apple in September. I'm going to leave you with a fierce freelance designer that I caught strutting her stuff in SoHo.
