Decked Out In Topman & My Life Continues...

topman ltd shirt, topman jacket, levis jeans, topman boots, rayban glasses
Seriously this week has been one of the craziest weeks ever. I seriously give props to people that have been working 7 days a week for a while. I've been doing it ever since I got to New York and I'm definitely pooped out.
If you guys are curious about how my internship is going, it's wonderful. Not only have I learned about PR, but also basic skills that can be used in everyday situations. My bosses are amazing and they have taught me so much (so far).
Now that I finally have been in New York for about 2 months, I feel like a New Yorker. Totally kidding, but I feel like I have developed a thicker skin around people (which could be a good/bad thing).
I have asked some of my co-workers and friends about why New Yorkers are so "mean" and it seems like the common answer is because they don't have anytime to spare. I guess I can agree with that to a certain extent.
No matter what I'll always have that midwestern hospitality. Oh and I forgot to mention that I recently acquired a job at Refinery29.com, fashionista's go-to blog, as a street style photographer for the New York tab. One thing I can say is that those hard hours as an intern do pay off.

I think you did smtg great here!
You mixed a baseball jacket (so, an item from urban spaces) and a flower print shirt (much more natural and classy): that creates a great contrast!

Nice work! :-)

Some people take sweetness for weakness - they are so wrong! Thicker skin would also require oodles of moisturizer and we know how expensive that can be! Congratulations about your new gig as NY street style photographer. You're swingin' on a star, fair Luis.

I always like seeing your style.
As for the New York mentality, I don't understand people being mean and blaming it on a lack of time. I hope you keep your midwestern values and enrich not only your life but others with kindness and style of course.

That's great that you're learning so much in your internship. And LOL on the New York thing:) Thicker skin is always good no matter where you are.
